Dureuil-Janthial Rully Rouge, France 2020

Dureuil-Janthial Rully Rouge, France 2020
The 2020 Rully delivers notions of cherries, smoky berries, exotic spices, loamy soil and raw cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, lively and vibrant, with tangy acids, ripe tannins and a long, saline finish, it's impressively dynamic in this warm vintage. Forget it for at least five years and watch it blossom. - Willam Kelley, Wine Advocate
"If asked, I would pick Vincent Dureuil-Janthail as the number one producer in Rully." - Jasper Morris, MW, Inside Burgundy Second Edition
What We Said:
It's difficult not to speak of Domaine Dureuil-Janthial with admiration. The quality of the wines remains consistent, regardless of whether it is a challenging vintage or a favorable one where nature is cooperative. The production is limited, and it won't be long before the wines become increasingly hard to find, though they already can be. Savvy buyers tend to scoop these gems rather quickly.
