Here we have a historic site, the second OLDEST producing Riesling vineyard in the Mosel with just over 1,000 vines planted in the year 1900!!!  This wine is the perfect encapsulation of the duplicitous nature of Mosel Riesling. Glycerin packed stone fruit, florals, herbs, slate. It spends some time in neutral barrels giving this wine the body of a Spätlese, but with only about 20g/L of residual sugar. The mouthfeel maintains a poised and nimble acidity with loads of crunchy minerality. It is one of the most exotically perfumed wines of the Mosel and recommended to decant before serving.
