Burgenland is Austria’s easternmost wine region, situated south of Niederösterreich and north of Steiermark, and bordering Hungary along its entire eastern flank. It is also home to lake Neusiedl (or Neusiedlersee), Europe’s largest steppe lake. 

Joiseph produces this light and tight chillable red from Zweigelt and Pinot Noir, and a field blend (or 'Gemischter Satz') of mainly Blaufränkisch. Soaring acidity lets the strawberry and spice notes dance on the palate, and the wine bristles with energy to make this an ideal summer red for chilling outside.
