Sunrise Cairns from Matchbook Distilling is an amaro with a true sense of place; and that place is not Greenport, but Western Massachusetts! This one-off, limited edition, bitter liqueur was crafted with botanicals foraged from the Berkshires and surrounding areas. Born as a collaboration between Matchbook, Tourists Hotel, and other beverage professionals, who spent a day trip hiking this majestic landscape, foraging ingredients including wild grapes, grape leaves, mugwort, nettle, spruce, and sumac, to create their own hyperlocal amaro. 

The product of their collaboration and collection of New England botanicals is earthy and herbaceous, but complemented by bright acidity and the right amount of bitterness, and delivers a refreshing experience that takes you right to the forests and foothills of the Berkshires. Sunrise Cairns Amaro encapsulates the essence of a single day of foraging, making it a true reflection of its natural surroundings.
