Margot Laurent, Charlotte, and their mother Florence established the domaine in 2014. Their family has been cultivating grapes in the Coteaux du Morin for three generations, but they used to sell their grapes to Champagne Pommery. The Petits Coteaux du Morin, located southwest of the Côtes des Blancs and northeast of the Côte de Sézanne, is a lesser-known part of Champagne. Here, there are no Grand or 1er Crus, and the vines are interspersed with forests and fields. The culty and highly sought-after wines of Domaine Ulysse Collin in Congy are the most famous representative of the region.

Oudiette X Filles ‘Composition’ is an assemblage of the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay fruit from 35 year old vines in the village of Beaunay in the Val du Petit Morin. The grapes were harvested in one pass, on September 18th 2021. Only the heart of the cuvee was vinified after the first pressing. The vin clair aged for ten months in old Burgundy barrels where it underwent spontaneous malolactic fermentation before bottling. Disgorged in May 2024 with a dosage of only 2 g/L.

This wine always offers vibrant citrus and floral notes, complemented by subtle minerality. It boasts a creamy texture and balanced acidity, thanks to its extended aging period on the lees, making it a refined and versatile Champagne that you can drink right away, or you can reserve some for a few years to enjoy a more complex and textured wine.
