Minakata Shuzo was established in 1884 in Wakayama, and has been family-owned for nearly 150 years. Ryujin, which means Dragon God in Japenese, is a small mountain town around 1500 feet in elevation, home to hot springs which are legendary for their curative properties. Minakata produces this traditional Yuzu Citrus Sake in their Sekai Itto line, made of brewed rice wine with the addition of fresh Yuzu juice from Ryujin.

Tart, refreshing, and Yuzu-forward - this fruit sake is not overly sweet as it has no added sugar, and is low in alcohol. Excellent on its own or with seltzer to make a Yuzu spritz, also great after a meal to cleanse the palate or enjoyed with desserts.
