Simon Bize began producing wine in 1880.  Many generations followed leading up to Chisa Bize running the estate with Patrick Bize's sister Marielle.  The domaine has always had the utmost respect for the land, and never fails to create harmonious and pure expressions of the terroir.

'Aux Grands Liards' is an exceptional offering from their Savigny-les-Beaune holdings, boasting a rich array of flavors--red berry notes blend perfectly with the scents of peonies, violets, and earth, creating a truly delightful aroma. With its energetic and concentrated medium-to-full body, this wine stands out despite its unassuming lieu dit designation. The supple tannins and bright acids are essential as they enhance the depth and complexity of this elegant red Burgundy.
