Rebel winemaker, Ulrich Stein, makes one of Mosel’s hottest rosés. For high acid dry wines, Mosel is one of the most excellent wine-growing climates in the world. Contrary to the more ubiquitous rosé regions (think Provence), which are often hot and sun-drenched, risking wines that can be flabby and higher in alcohol. The coolness of Mosel’s climate is ideal for making fresh, acid-driven, and snappy rosé.
