Vallana 'Cuvee Bernardo Vallana' Spanna, Alto Piedmont, Italy 2020
Vallana 'Cuvee Bernardo Vallana' Spanna, Alto Piedmont, Italy 2020
Nestled at the foot of Monte Rosa, where Alpine and Mediterranean influences converge, Alto Piemonte offers a distinctive expression of Nebbiolo — elegant, aromatic, and structured. Thanks to its acidic soils, some of which of volcanic origin, the wines showcase firm backbone, minerality, and remarkable aging potential.
The Vallana family owns vineyards within the Colline Novaresi, including two of the region’s most esteemed crus: Boca and Gattinara, located within the UNESCO-recognized Valsesia Supervolcano Geopark. The winery itself is based in the historic village of Maggiora.
