Pascal Bonhomme Viré-Clessé, Burgundy 2022

Pascal Bonhomme has absolutely nailed it with the 2022 vintage, producing an outstanding wine that is both flavorful and downright delicious while still costing less than $30. The nose is clean and pure, boasting lemon, pear, quince, and a hint of wildflower honey, as well as a subtle saline edge. On the palate, the wine bursts with bright acidity and a hint of spice on the back palate, creating a mineral and racy experience with flavors of quince, pear, and citrus with a touch of pineapple and honey. The finish is long and dry, leaving a lasting impression. Pair this wine with whitefish crudo or sashimi, or opt for skate with beurre Blanc, rissole potatoes, and haricots vert - either way, you won't be disappointed!
