The cellar of Denis Montanar is located in Borc Dodon, in the province of Udine. In 1989 Denis began to lead the family business by renting his grandfather vineyards. He then began to buy hectares of vineyards in an old rural village and the rest is history. Denis makes a varied line up of wines, all authentic to the region, without intervention, allowing the grapes to speak for themselves. His Refosco makes for a rosé full of life, always evolving with balanced fruity and savory aromas. It is done without the addition of sulfur or any other chemical compounds, some bottle variation can occur. If you're a fan of wines made naturally this is a producer to know.
