Alessandro, who used to work as an enologist for Cantina Mascarello for 20 years, left his job in 1997 to start his own estate in Monforte d'Alba. Together with his brother Gian Natale, they cultivate eight hectares of land in the heart of the historic Bussia cru, which is located north of Monforte. This area is known for producing wines with great longevity and finesse. Their Rosso dei Dardi has a pleasant bouquet of wild berries with a hint of spiciness. This blend is very approachable and is crafted by a talented winemaker using a great plot of land.

Pairing: Pizza night, risotto, mushroom sauces, roasted duck or rabbit.
