This illustrious estate produces some of the world's most sought-after Valpolicella & Amarone.  Located in Negrar, the heart of the Valpolicella zone, the wines of Quintarelli lie quietly for seven years before they are released. Cà del Merlo is what would be considered a village wine for Quintarelli. A Ca del Merlo is a single vineyard cuvee made exactly the same way as the Valpolicella, however, the Rosso Cà del Merlo includes a field blend of 15% non-traditional varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Nebbiolo, Croatina and Sangiovese combined with the traditional Corvina and Corvinone (55%) and Rondinella (30%).
