Duncan Arnot Meyer and Nathan Lee Roberts are one of the most dynamic wine teams in California. Their wines have an old-world soul with new-world flare, coming from some of California's most historic vineyards. The two childhood friends have been a strong advocate of naturally produced, single-vineyard bottlings from California. Planted almost four decades ago, ‘Trout Gulch’ vineyard is situated 800 feet above sea level, just four miles from the Pacific Ocean. The cool marine breezes and sandy loam soils create a balanced and bright wine that yields a wine with vibrant acidity and pronounced salinity.
