The Tercic estate sits in the heart of Collio, just steps from the Slovenian
border—so close, in fact, that the family speaks both Italian and Slovenian at
home. Their 10 hectares of vineyards surround the village of San Floriano del
Collio, nestled between the Adriatic Sea to the south and the first slopes of the
Alps to the north.

The Tercic family has deep roots in this land, but it was Alojz Tercic who first planted vines. Three generations later, in 1993, Matijaž Tercic officially founded
the winery, shifting the family from farming to winemaking. Today, the fourth
generation is stepping in: Ana Tercic studied oenology and returned home in
2020 to work alongside her father. 

This is far more rustic and complex (and delicious) than your average Pinot Grigio. Stony minerality and subdued floral tones adorn a luscious medium body that pairs well with richer dishes and entrees. Leave your Pinot Grigio preconceptions behind!
