There is not much Albariño planted on the North Fork of Long Island but Bedell has proven that there should probably be more.  When you travel to the North Fork during the warm summer months the farm stands are plush with vegetables and the oysters are served in nearly every restaurant.  With its crushable acidity & savory salinity all wrapped up in a bouquet of peaches and almond skin, this is a highly drinkable wine for the summer months, if it lasts that long.
